The JZP-8.5 is a rubber-metal bonded vibration isolator rated for 8.5 kg nominal load, purpose-built for installations where acoustic bridge prevention and fire safety are non-negotiable requirements. By interrupting structure-borne vibration transmission paths at the mounting interface, it delivers measurable noise reduction in connected assemblies while its flame-retardant elastomer formulation provides an added layer of operational safety.

How Acoustic Bridge Prevention Works

Vibration energy travels through rigid connections as structure-borne sound—flanking paths that bypass conventional acoustic treatments. The JZP-8.5 inserts a high-damping rubber element between the vibration source and the supporting structure, creating an impedance discontinuity that converts kinetic energy into low-grade heat before it can propagate. Independent testing shows a 15–25 dB reduction in transmitted structure-borne noise across the 50 Hz–2 kHz band when compared to rigid bolted connections.

Flame Retardant & Self-Extinguishing Construction

The rubber compound used in JZP-8.5 meets UL94 V-0 flammability classification. In the event of flame exposure, the material self-extinguishes within 10 seconds of ignition source removal and does not produce flaming drips.
