Product Description

JZP-10.5 High-Precision Rubber Shock Absorber Mount

The JZP-10.5 is a precision-engineered rubber-to-metal bonded vibration isolator designed for industrial equipment requiring stable dynamic-to-static stiffness characteristics and long-term environmental durability. Its core differentiator lies in the NR formulation that maintains a dynamic-to-static ratio of ≤1.4 — a critical parameter ensuring the mount behaves predictably under both steady loads and oscillating conditions, preventing resonance drift in rotating machinery.

Manufacturing Process & Quality Assurance

  • Compression Molding — Each JZP-10.5 unit is produced via high-pressure compression molding at 150-160°C, achieving full cross-linking density throughout the rubber body for consistent mechanical properties batch to batch.
  • Vulcanized Metal Bond — The steel core undergoes zinc phosphate pretreatment and Chemlok adhesive coating before rubber vulcanization, creating a bond strength exceeding 8 MPa — well above the tear strength of the rubber itself.
  • 100% Load-Deflection Testing — Every production lot is sampled for static and dynamic stiffness curves on an MTS servo-hydraulic test frame, with full traceability records maintained for 36 months.
  • Ozone Chamber Batch Verification — NR compound samples from each batch are exposed to 50 pphm ozone at 40°C for 72 hours per ASTM D1149, with zero visible cracking as the acceptance criterion.

Performance Characteristics

The ≤1.4 dynamic-to-static ratio of the JZP-10.5 is a standout feature in its class. In practice, this means the mount stiffens by no more than 40% when transitioning from static preload to dynamic excitation — minimizing the shift in system natural frequency that typically plagues generic rubber mounts. This is particularly valuable for variable-speed equipment where resonance avoidance across a range of operating RPMs is essential.

The ozone-resistant NR formulation incorporates p-phenylenediamine-based antiozonants and microcrystalline wax that blooms to the surface, forming a protective film. This dual-mechanism protection has been validated through accelerated weathering equivalent to 5+ years of outdoor exposure in moderate climates.

Installation Guidelines

  • Mounting surface flatness should be within 0.2mm across the mounting footprint
  • Tightening torque: 25-30 N·m for M10 studs
  • Always use a flat washer and spring washer combination to prevent loosening
  • Allow minimum 5mm clearance around the rubber body for unrestricted flexing
  • For multi-mount systems, ensure load distribution does not exceed ±10% variation between mounts

Typical Applications

  • HVAC Systems — Isolate chiller compressors, cooling tower fans, and air handling units from building structures
  • Industrial Pumps — Reduce pipe-transmitted vibration in centrifugal and diaphragm pump installations
  • Generator Sets — Under-frame isolation for diesel and natural gas gensets up to 50 kVA
  • Compressor Stations — Piston and scroll compressor isolation in refrigeration and pneumatic systems
  • Textile Machinery — Dampen loom and spinning frame vibration in production environments
