Product Description

JZP-0.3C Rubber Shock Absorber for Subsea and Demanding Environments

The JZP-0.3C is a pre-compressed rubber-to-metal vibration isolator engineered to protect precision equipment from shock and vibration in some of the toughest working conditions. Part of the trusted JZP-C family, it pairs a vulcanized rubber element with a rigid metal housing to deliver predictable, repeatable damping across a broad temperature and frequency band. Where conventional mounts lose performance under pressure, grit or radiation exposure, the JZP-0.3C keeps equipment stable and easy to service.

Key Advantages

  • Hydrostatic pressure resilience for subsea operations: the sealed housing and vulcanized rubber-to-metal bond are rated to withstand hydrostatic pressure, so the isolator suits subsea skids, offshore instrumentation and deep-water sensor packages without losing damping performance.
  • Particle and sand ingress resistant: a fully sealed construction keeps fine dust, sand and abrasive particles away from the working element, preserving stable isolation in deserts, quarries, coastal sites and other particle-rich settings.
  • Radiation and ion bombardment resistant: selected elastomers and bonding agents tolerate radiation and ion bombardment, allowing continuous operation in radiation-exposed industrial and scientific equipment.
  • Pre-compressed for rapid field replacement: every unit ships pre-compressed, so maintenance teams can swap a worn isolator in minutes, with no on-site pre-loading, no special tooling and minimal downtime.

Technical Specifications

Nominal load (Pz) is 0.3 kg, and deformation displacement under downward pressure is 0.3 mm or less. The natural resonant frequency is 35 +/- 3 Hz. Operating temperature spans -45 to +65 Celsius. The unit withstands a shock input of 100 g for 6 ms and limits peak response to 3.6 km/s2 or less. Vibration behaviour complies with national standard GJB150-16.
