How Multi-Directional Isolation Works

The 6.8mm stainless steel wire rope is formed into 8 continuous helical loops secured between two aluminum alloy clamping blocks. When vibration or shock energy enters the system, the individual wire strands within each loop rub against one another (Coulomb friction), converting kinetic energy into low-grade thermal energy.
