Product Description

JZP-3.0B Rubber Shock Absorber

The JZP-3.0B is an assembled rubber shock absorber from the JZP-B series manufactured by Xi'an Hoan. The unit carries a nominal load of 3.0 kg and combines a steel spring core with a molded elastomer element. Installed between a vibrating source and its support, it absorbs shock and lowers transmitted vibration, keeping structure-borne noise away from floors, frames and housings. Typical mounting points include vehicle assemblies, general machinery, engines, compressors, fans and pumps.

Fail-safe interlocked structural design and decoupled stiffness ratios

Fail-safe interlocked structural design. The elastomer element and the metal fittings of the JZP-3.0B are held together by an interlocked joint rather than by adhesion alone. Under normal load the joint spreads force evenly across the contact faces. If the bond between rubber and metal is overloaded, the interlock keeps the elastomer captured inside the housing, so the isolator does not separate into loose parts. The supported equipment stays in place during an overload event, which limits secondary impact damage to instruments and enclosures.

Decoupled axial & radial stiffness ratios. Axial and radial stiffness values are controlled through separate design parameters: the axial direction is set by the height and cross-section of the elastomer column, while the radial direction is set by the column diameter and the internal clearance of the housing. Because the two values are adjusted independently, the JZP-3.0B can deliver a tuned axial response for its 3.0 kg nominal load together with lateral restraint in the radial direction. The isolator keeps a resonant frequency near 41.5 Hz with a damping ratio above 0.13 across these mounting arrangements.

Applications

The JZP-3.0B suits equipment that must keep running while a nearby machine generates vibration: engines and gearboxes in vehicles and vessels, compressors, fans, pumps and generators in plants, and cabinets that hold electronic controls. It is also used on machine plinths and under light plant rooms where the goal is to stop vibration from spreading into occupied floors.
