JZP-4.0B Rubber Shock Absorber


The JZP-4.0B is an assembled rubber shock absorber from the JZP-B series manufactured by Xi'an Hoan. The unit carries a nominal load of 4.0 kg and combines a steel spring core with a molded elastomer element. Installed between a vibrating source and its support, it absorbs shock and lowers transmitted vibration, keeping structure-borne noise away from floors, frames and housings. Typical mounting points include vehicle assemblies, general machinery, engines, compressors, fans and pumps.


Anti-fungal and microbe resistance with rate-sensitive dynamic hardening


Anti-fungal & microbe resistance. The elastomer compound of the JZP-4.0B is formulated to inhibit fungal and microbial growth on the rubber surface. In warm or humid installations, where untreated rubber can develop mold, the compound keeps the surface clean and does not provide a medium for microbial colonies. The damping element holds its surface condition and mechanical response, which matters for food plants, tunnels, basements and tropical climates.


Rate-sensitive dynamic hardening. The elastomer of the JZP-4.0B responds according to the rate of the applied load. Under steady vibration the element deflects with the rated softness and isolates at the resonance band of the isolator. When a fast shock input arrives, the compound stiffens with the loading rate and spreads the impact energy over the deflection stroke, which limits the peak force transmitted to the support. Once the shock passes, the element returns to its normal response.
