JZP-0.3C Radiation Tolerant Rubber Shock Absorber for Aerospace and Scientific Equipment


When sensitive electronics must survive radiation exposure, blowing sand and repeat field service, the JZP-0.3C delivers dependable vibration isolation. This pre-compressed rubber-to-metal isolator is engineered around the JZP-C platform and hardened for aerospace, scientific and other high-reliability programs. It pairs a solid rubber damping element with a metal housing, giving engineers a compact, predictable component that is easy to specify and quick to replace.


Performance Highlights


  • Radiation and ion bombardment resistant: elastomers and bonding systems are chosen to tolerate radiation and ion bombardment, so isolation stays consistent in radiation-exposed equipment.
  • Hydrostatic pressure resilience for subsea operations: the sealed, vulcanized construction withstands hydrostatic pressure for deep-water and offshore sensor applications.
  • Particle and sand ingress resistant: dust, sand and grit are kept out of the working element, protecting performance in dry, abrasive environments.
