JZP-2.0C Rubber Shock Absorber — Product Overview
The JZP-2.0C belongs to the JZP-C family of prefabricated vibration isolators. It is installed between a machine and its base, or between a structure and its foundation, so that vibration and structure-borne noise passing from one side to the other are reduced. A rubber elastomer is bonded to metal plates, and internal damping components take up movement, allowing the isolator to keep steady performance while a nominal load of 2.0 Kg rests on it.
How the JZP-2.0C works
When a machine runs, its motion travels into the supporting structure unless something interrupts the path. The JZP-2.0C interrupts that path. Energy enters the rubber body, where internal friction turns part of it into heat. The remaining movement is spread over a longer time, which lowers the peak force that the structure has to carry. Because the response is tuned rather than fixed to a single point, the isolator stays effective across a broad band of operating frequencies.
Phononic crystal noise topology
Periodic scatterers are arranged inside the elastomer to form a phononic crystal pattern. Sound waves travelling through the material are scattered and redirected, so less structure-borne noise reaches the outer surfaces that would otherwise radiate it. The outcome is a machine, an enclosure or an occupied room that stays quieter during operation.

Typical applications
Machinery and production equipment that must stay steady while running; building structures, including foundations and key supports; bridges and other transport structures exposed to traffic and wind; railway tracks and rolling stock where ride comfort matters; and precision instruments or enclosures that need a quiet base.
