JZP-1.0C Rubber Shock Absorber with Self-Healing Elastomer Chemistry


The JZP-1.0C is a prefabricated rubber shock absorber built for continuous vibration and noise isolation in industrial, railway and precision-equipment installations. With a 1.0 kg nominal load rating and a low-maintenance design, it suits service points where damping behaviour must stay stable across long operating intervals.


How Self-Healing Elastomer Chemistry Works


Under repeated dynamic loading, ordinary elastomers collect micro-cracks that slowly reduce damping ability. The JZP-1.0C counters this with self-healing elastomer chemistry. Reversible dynamic bonds inside the rubber network re-associate after localised stress, allowing micro-cracks to close on their own between load cycles. Rather than drifting out of specification, the mount holds its isolation behaviour as duty cycles accumulate.


Dynamic Self-Healing Rubber Matrix


The dynamic self-healing rubber matrix spreads stress evenly through the vulcanised body. Because the matrix keeps repairing itself under cyclic compression and shear, the absorber retains a stable resonant frequency of 35±3 Hz with high internal damping throughout its working life. This means fewer re-torquing tasks, fewer replacements and less downtime at mounting points that are hard to reach.
